It would be so easy for storage facilities to follow this example and install solar panels across their whole facilities. With all the lighting, all the security, alarms, etc. these facilities have to be sucking a lot of juice.

Do a search around your area for storage rental facilities that are making efforts to go green. Whether through solar power, or paperless billing, or offering recycling containers on site. And while you're at it, recommend that they supply used cardboard boxes as an alternative to new boxes as well!
