-Drive at night when there's less traffic
-Spend extra time making sure you can get as much as possible packed in few trips
-Since you're going to take your family vehicles to your new home or office anyway, be sure to factor in their space for moving boxes as it may save you a trip in the truck
-If you have lots of extra space in the truck, you may want to ask your friends/family/co-workers if they need anything transported, it may save them a separate truck rental.
